21 Oct Online enamel workshops with Naomi Clarke
Booking closes 9th November.
Join Artist, Jeweller and Enameler Naomi Clarke for an introduction to working with enamel. You will learn about this heritage technique and produce your own small artworks using enamel and graphite.
Naomi’s practice focusses on social history, archives and objects, exploring the complex way that narratives are constructed around personal and public objects and collections. Naomi uses hand-processes that are traditionally used by Silversmiths and Jewellers and which reflect the time and emotional investment carried in objects, and the stories that go with them.
All materials will be posted out to participants in advance. Each workshop will last one hour, time slots (2 – 3pm & 3- 4pm) will be allocated once bookings are placed. This workshop is free but places are limited.
