26 Aug In:Site Festival Revisited 2020
Sadly we have had to cancel our In:Site Festival Revisited Workshop with Naomi Clarke. We are working towards running this as a free online workshop with all materials provided in advance. If you would be interested in taking part and would like to find out more, please email: [email protected]
Although In:Site festival can’t go ahead this year as normal we’re delighted to announce that there will still be an In:Site presence in Birmingham Cathedral Square this September! There will be an outdoor exhibition featuring previous participating artists’ work and a workshop with jeweller Naomi Clarke.

Each September, Craftspace brings new graduate makers, designers and artists to Cathedral Square with In:Site, an annual event showcasing new craft and design talent from across the UK. In:Site encourages a large public audience to watch, make and take part in contemporary art and craft activities in this unexpected, city centre space. In:Site 2020 Exhibition showcases the work of previous In:Site makers who have created artworks focussing on the history and heritage of Birmingham and the Cathedral itself, drawing fresh attention to the imagery, stories and people to be found there.
Talk & Workshop – CANCELLED
Friday 12 September
2 – 4pm
You can find out more about the artworks in the exhibition and the inspiration behind them with the Craftspace Director Deirdre Figueiredo. Take part in an workshop with artist, jeweller and enameller Naomi Clarke where you will learn about enamelling – a heritage technique – and create your own small artwork taking your inspiration from the Cathedral itself.
The talk and workshop are free but places are limited. Book via this link to Eventbrite.
